In a heartwarming display of community spirit, “We Are One” has emerged as a beacon of hope and kindness. This social service platform celebrates the power of compassion and community, spreading kindness one act at a time.
“We Are One” is the visionary brainchild of my friend Lekshmy Pramod( writer/ poetess/ motivator) based in Vaikom with the support of her Consort Mr Pramod Viswam,her Mother Prof Suma Vijayan & 2 lads Siddharth and Sanjay Pramod conceived during her remarkable journey of resilience while being partially bedridden for eight years. Humble beginnings with just 50 members have blossomed into a vibrant community. The group’s purpose is threefold: fostering meaningful connections, showcasing hidden talents, and providing support in times of need.
Our collective endeavour has borne fruit, as our membership tally has swelled to a staggering 784 individuals, each contributing their unique quotient of resources and expertise to our shared vision of societal amelioration. Through our concerted efforts, we have been able to provide succour to those in need, disbursing medical aid to alleviate suffering, offering financial assistance to facilitate educational pursuits, and even acquiring land to empower a financially disadvantaged family.
As a cohesive unit, we remain steadfast in our commitment to extending a helping hand to those who require it, irrespective of the circumstances. Our organisation serves as a bulwark against adversity, providing a safety net for the vulnerable and a beacon of hope for those navigating life’s challenges. Through our collective philanthropy, we strive to create a more compassionate and equitable society, where every individual has the opportunity to thrive.
Our group is a vibrant hub of talented individuals from various fields, including politics, arts, science, and more.

Thanks to the help of our “We Are One” members, ministers, MPs, entrepreneurs, doctors, and other supportive group members, we were able to make a big difference in people’s lives. Together, we bought land for a family in need, provided financial help to members struggling with serious health issues, and gave money to support education. All of this was possible because of the kindness and support of our members and the strong sense of community we share.
We believe that by supporting and caring for each other, we can create a stronger bond than blood ties. Our goal is to become a source of love, affection, and inspiration for one another. We may come from different backgrounds and walks of life, but we’re united in our quest for connection, growth, and mutual support.
Heartful of thanks to Lekshmy’s outstanding leadership and the teamwork of our members, “We Are One” has grown into a strong and vibrant community. Just like a mighty tree, we’ve spread our roots deep and our branches wide, providing shelter, support, and inspiration to all those who are part of us.
